Content
Creatives, Briefs, Gifting, Documents and Intelligence, and which of them each role sees.
What Content is
Content is where the work lives. Everything to do with making a video, from the brief that asks for it through to the finished cut and what the ads told you afterwards, sits behind one nav entry.
The tabs come in three groups, separated by a rule: the work, the reference, and the read.
| Group | Tab | Brand | Creator |
|---|---|---|---|
| The work | Creatives | Yes | Yes, as My Creatives |
| Briefs | Yes | Yes | |
| Gifting | Yes | No | |
| Products | No | Yes | |
| The reference | Documents | Yes | Yes |
| The read | Intelligence | Yes | No |
Brands manage products from Gifting, which is why there is no separate Products tab on their side. Creators have no Gifting tab because requesting product is what Products is for.
Creatives
The review queue. Creators upload here, brands watch and respond here, and an approved video is published to Meta from here.
Every upload is a version, including the first. Notes can be pinned to a timestamp on the video, so feedback points at the frame it is about. A revision comes back as the next version with the previous file still reachable.
Each approved creative carries a bar showing what it has earned against its cap, and a Terms panel showing exactly what that video is paid on. The panel is read-only once the video is live as an ad.
Creators see the same tab as My Creatives, holding their own uploads and nothing else.
Publish a video to Meta
What happens when an approved video becomes an ad.
Briefs
The thing creators submit against: what to make, how many you want and by when.
Briefs
Angles, hooks to avoid, targets, deadlines and who can see one.
Gifting
Brands send free product to creators from the Shopify catalogue, either by approving a request or by sending something unprompted.
Gifting
Requests, bundles, the limits you can set, and how a parcel is tracked.
Products
The creator's side of gifting. It holds the catalogue they can request from, any bundles the brand has published, and their own request and order history with tracking.
A creator needs a shipping address on file before they can request anything, which is why it is one of the steps in creator onboarding.
Documents
A block editor for anything written, from guidelines to company documents.
Each document has a visibility:
| Visibility | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Private | Only you, plus anyone you share it with individually |
| Team | Owners and admins |
| Creators | Owners, admins and the creators in the workspace |
Sharing with one person individually works on top of that setting, so a private document can go to a single creator without opening it to everybody.
Documents can be pinned to the top of the list, up to five at a time, and marked complete when they have served their purpose. Completed ones drop below a divider rather than disappearing.
A document is not a brief. Use Documents for the things that stay true across campaigns, and a brief for a specific ask you want submissions against.
Intelligence
What your best performing creative has in common, read from the ads that actually ran. Brand side, on Growth and Agency.
Creative Intelligence
How creatives are classified and how to read the evidence.
