API Reference
There is no public Hotline UGC API yet. What exists today, and what to use instead.
A public API is not available yet. There are no API keys to issue, no documented endpoints, and no api.hotlineugc.com. Anything you may have seen describing one was placeholder content and has been removed.
What this means today
Everything in Hotline is done through the app at app.hotlineugc.com. There is no programmatic way to create work, read performance or trigger a payout from outside it.
If you have built something against endpoints from an earlier version of these docs, it was never live and will not start working.
What does exist
Two integration surfaces are real, and both are configured from Settings rather than called directly:
Meta
Hotline reads and writes your Meta ad account on your behalf, once you authorise it.
Shopify
Install the app on your store and Hotline mirrors your catalogue and creates gift orders.
Hotline also receives webhooks from Shopify and Stripe. Those are inbound to Hotline and configured by the integrations themselves, so there is nothing for you to call or register.
If you need programmatic access
Tell us what you are trying to automate. What gets built first will be decided by what people actually ask for, and a concrete use case is far more useful than a general request for an API.
